Yesenia Castelan will travel during Union College's winter break

Yesenia Castelan, of Bronx, NY, will travel during Union College's winter break.

Castelan, a member of the Class of 2018 majoring in Bioengineering, will travel to Ethiopia, studying the history of the country and the role of coffee in the life of Ethiopians.

Union College offers a diverse array of study abroad programs for its students. Union is ranked #7 in the country by the Princeton Review for its study abroad program, and about 60 percent of Union students will study abroad during their time at the College.
