Tuan Nguyen will travel during Union College's winter break

Tuan Nguyen, of Sa Pa Lao Cai, Vietnam, will travel during Union College's winter break.

Nguyen, a member of the Class of 2016 majoring in Political Science and Economics , will travel to the Louisiana Gulf Coast region, performing community service and disaster recovery in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Union College offers a diverse array of study abroad programs for its students. Union is ranked #7 in the country by the Princeton Review for its study abroad program, and about 60 percent of Union students will study abroad during their time at the College.
