Teresa Crasto honored at Union College Prize Day

Union College Prize Day was held on Saturday, May 10, in the College's Memorial Chapel. Students were honored for achievement in academics, research, service and governance.

Teresa Crasto, of Albany, N.Y., was awarded the William H. Bloom (1945), M.D. and Jonathan R. Bloom (1988) Poetry Prize, given for the best poem or series of poems by an undergraduate. She was also awarded the Eugene W. Hellmich (1923) Memorial Prize, Martin Terry Resch Prize and Daniel Shocket (1972) Memorial Award. Crasto is a member of the Class of 2014.

Founded in 1795, Union College was the first college chartered by the Board of Regents of the State of New York.
