Madeleine Hamparian traveling on Union College mini term

Madeleine Hamparian, of Belchertown, Mass. , is traveling during winter break on a Union College mini term.

Hamparian, a member of the Class of 2020 majoring in Liberal Arts , is completing the Mexican-American Border Mini Term, traveling from California, through Arizona, New Mexico and Texas to experience the history and culture of life along the border.

Every year, the College offers a variety of mini-terms, three-week programs running during winter break since the school is on the trimester system.

Union College offers a diverse array of study abroad programs for its students. Union is ranked #7 in the country by the Princeton Review for its study abroad program, and about 60 percent of Union students will study abroad during their time at the College.
