Kyra DeTone honored at Union College's Prize Day

Kyra DeTone, of Pelham, N.Y., was honored at Union College's annual Prize Day celebration.

Students were honored for achievement in academics, research, service and governance. DeTone, a member of the Class of 2016, was honored with the William B. Jaffe Art Award, given for exceptional achievement by an art major, marked by excellence in the study of art history, independent scholarship and interest in the work of the department. She was also awarded the Minerva Prize and the President's Commission on the Status of Women Community Service Award.
