Krystal Edwards will travel during Union College's winter break

Krystal Edwards, of Roxbury, MA, will travel during Union College's winter break.

Edwards, a member of the Class of 2018 majoring in Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies, will travel to southern portion of the United States, studying the Civil Rights movement including meeting with activists and visiting historic sites.

Union College offers a diverse array of study abroad programs for its students. Union is ranked #7 in the country by the Princeton Review for its study abroad program, and about 60 percent of Union students will study abroad during their time at the College.
