Gianluca Avanzato honored at Union College's Prize Day

Gianluca Avanzato, of Oneonta, N.Y., was honored at Union College's annual Prize Day celebration.

Students were honored for achievement in academics, research, service and governance. Avanzato, a member of the Class of 2018, was honored with the Edward Everett Hale, Jr. Prize, for the best essay written by a sophomore or junior. He was also awarded the Thomas J. Judson Memorial Book Prize.
