Colby Howland will study abroad this fall with a Union College program

Colby Howland, of Falmouth, ME, will study abroad this fall as part of a Union College International Program.

Howland is a member of the Class of 2016 majoring in Geology. Howland will travel to Argentina, studying language and culture.

Union offers a diverse array of study abroad programs for its students. In 2013, the College was ranked #7 by the Princeton Review for the Most Popular Study Abroad Program in the country. About 60 percent of Union students will do a term abroad.

Union College, founded in 1795 as the first college chartered by the New York State Board of Regents, offers programs in the liberal arts and engineering to 2,100 undergraduates of high academic promise and strong personal motivation.
