Caitlin Williams to serve as Union College Minerva House leader

2015 Sep 23

Caitlin Williams , of Scotch Plains, N.J., will serve as the house co-chair of Messa House, which is part of Union College's Minerva House system.

Union's Minerva House system is a unique way of blending academic, social and residential interests. All students and faculty are assigned to one of the seven houses, where the overstuffed couches beckon, and discussions on anything from Euclid to YouTube inspire lively debate. Many professors teach first-year preceptorials in their Minerva Houses, and some upper-class students live on the residential floors above the common areas. With a generous programming budget, the Minervas host hundreds of events each year, created and run by student house leaders.

Williams is a member of the Class of 2018.
