Benjamin Shapiro will travel during Union College's winter break

Benjamin Shapiro, of Jamesville, NY, will travel during Union College's winter break.

Shapiro, a member of the Class of 2017 majoring in Biology, will travel to Egypt, studying early and modern Egyptian civilization including excursions to ancient monuments and historic sites.

Union College offers a diverse array of study abroad programs for its students. Union is ranked #7 in the country by the Princeton Review for its study abroad program, and about 60 percent of Union students will study abroad during their time at the College.
