Anouk Nouet participating in Union College's summer research program

2017 Jul 20

Anouk Nouet, of Glen Ridge, NJ, is one of 120 students working this summer in Union College's summer research program.

Nouet, a member of the Class of 2018, is working in the Engineering department on a project titled "The Impact of Permeable Concrete on Water Treatment and Filtration: Economic and Enviornmental Gain?."

Union College students are working closely with 64 faculty stretched across 23 departments and programs. Most projects are funded through the undergraduate research program. The rest are supported by government or scientific society grants to faculty members, academic departments, and/or with foundation funding. The projects support Union's commitment to undergraduate research, one that rivals the experience found at larger universities.
