Aleena Paul honored at Union College's Prize Day

Aleena Paul, of Bellerose, NY, was recently honored at Union College's annual Prize Day celebration.

Paul was given the Stephen F. Leo (1884), M.D., Prize, given to the premedical student on scholarship who attains the highest grades in the graduating class and who has been accepted in medical school. She was also awarded the Minerva Prize, given to a female student whose work best combines the scholarly study of women or gender with activities that enhance the life of women on campus.

Union College, founded in 1795 as the first college chartered by the New York State Board of Regents, offers programs in the liberal arts and engineering to 2,100 undergraduates of high academic promise and strong personal motivation.
